It’s been almost 30 years, but The Sanderson Sisters are finally back, baby! Hocus Pocus really is the perfect movie. It’s got vacuum-riding witches, corny comedy, 90’s fashion, a talking cat, a sexy zombie, and even a musical number. My absolute favorite Halloween movie ever!
I have these Funko Pop! Sanderson Sisters vinyl figures, so I wanted to make some cute matching cookies to celebrate the new movie coming out.
These were my No-Spread Lemon Shortbread Sugar Cookies and I used Royal Icing to decorate them.
Cookie cutters from Sweetleigh Printed:
Step 1:
Draw out your designs on the cookies using an edible pen.
Step 2:
Outline hair on Mary with black detail icing, and flood faces on all 3 cookies with ivory flooding icing.
Step 3:
Add ears and flood in half of the hair on all 3 cookies with flooding icing. Use a wet-on-wet technique on Mary’s hair using black and purple flooding icing.
Step 4:
Finish hair on all 3 cookies with flooding icing. Then allow cookies to dry overnight.
Step 5:
Add eyeballs, eyelashes, eyebrows, and Winifred’s mouth with detail icing. I also used orange and brown petal dust to give the girls eyeshadow. I used a spider candy sprinkle in Mary’s hair, but you could pipe out a spider using black detail icing.
